Aeration creates holes down into the soil to alleviate compaction so air, water and nutrients can reach grass roots. Completed in early fall or early spring. We utilize core aerators, reciprocating and drum style.
Overseeding is the addition of grass seed typically in conjunction with the lawn aeration. The aeration soil core holes and plugs make great places for seed to take root.
Top dressing is the addition of compost, turface, Mirimchi, loam, or sand to improve soil structure, improve drainage or smooth imperfections in the surface nutrients or drainage. This is often done in conjunction with lawn aeration and overseeding.
Lawn renovation typically involves lawn aeration, topdressing and overseeding. In addition we utilize a slice seeder to optimize placement of the grass seed
Removal of existing grass and installation of sod grass
Bent Grass Eradication
This is timely task that must be completed with 3 consecutive selective herbicide applications 2 weeks apart, followed up by aeration, topdressing and seeding of the lawn areas.
